1. Conventional agricultural plant protection (spraying conventional pesticides)
Metal nozzles: Inspect every quarter (3 months). If there’s no noticeable change in spray uniformity or range, replacement can be extended to 6–12 months.
Plastic nozzles: Inspect every 2 months and replace at least once a year (even if no obvious wear is visible, as aging may still affect performance).
2. High-load operations (such as large-scale irrigation or fertilization)
Due to long operating hours and high flow rates, nozzles wear out more quickly. It is recommended that: - Metal nozzles be inspected every 2–3 months, and replaced immediately if significant wear is observed. - Plastic nozzles be checked monthly, or alternatively, replaced regularly every quarter (every 3 months).
3. Seasonal use (e.g., applying pesticides only during summer)
At the end of each annual usage cycle (e.g., in autumn), clean the nozzles and inspect them for wear. If you plan to continue using them in the next cycle, we recommend: For metal nozzles: Use them again if they’re still in good condition; otherwise, replace them. For plastic nozzles: It’s advisable to replace them with new ones every year before use (to prevent failures caused by aging during long-term storage).
